The MTPA website first appeared online in 1998 and was previously hosted by Railpage, to whom we thank for their initial support.  Unfortunately after its initial launch, very few updates were made, and the entire site became very dated and outdated.

In 2009 this new site was designed and uploaded by Warren Doubleday and Kym Smith, ensuring that up-to-date information about the Association and its activities was provided.

The photographs used in this website have been made available for use by a number of friends of the MTPA, and in particular we would like to thank:

  • Mark Bau;
  • Peter Bruce;
  • Warren Doubleday
  • Graeme Farrar;
  • Noel Forster;
  • Richard Jones;
  • Glen G Mills;
  • Doug Moyle;
  • Ray Oaff;
  • Lloyd Rogers;
  • Mal Rowe;
  • Frank Schroeders;
  • Anthony Smith;
  • Jacqui Smith;
  • Kym Smith;
  • Troy Thomas; and
  • Robert Wilson

for their permission to use their photographs or for assistance with this website.
